The Full Story

Matthew James Pflueger (known as James Pflueger) founded BHP Contracting to help give back to the organization that shaped his adult life. James started serving in the Coast Guard at 18 years old back in 1997. James served in the Coast Guard for 6 years and handled many duties in that time such as being a deck seamen, performing search and rescue operations, fisheries law enforcement, oil spill cleanups, and being a health services technician down in Petaluma, CA. James would eventually move on to be the Facilities Manager at the City of Antioch and handled facilities projects such as general construction, high and low voltage, roof replacements, HVAC, and plumbing. James developed these skills over 7 years at the City until finally deciding he wanted to return to his roots and do business with the organization that changed his life. James started BHP and has been serving Local, State, and Federal Government ever since.
